What we keep from an inquiry.
The studio collects only what it needs to answer a booking and to run a sitting. This note explains who holds that information and which rights you can use.
Data controller
The data controller is Mind Waypoint, 88 Jungang-daero, Jung-gu, Daegu, 41931. Email info@mindwaypoint.click. Telephone 053-421-8843. The official registered business name is Mind Waypoint, established in 2016.
What we collect
If you write through the contact form or by email, we receive your name, email address, the sitting you asked about, an optional preferred date, and the message you wrote. If you telephone, we may note the same details in a paper book. At a sitting we see the trade log you choose to bring. We ask you to leave account numbers, passwords, and residency numbers off that paper. We do not ask for them on the form.
The site stores a consent choice in local storage on your browser under the key mindwaypoint-consent. That choice is Accept or Reject. It is not sent to the studio with the form.
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address and ordinary browser data to Google when the typeface file is fetched. See the cookie note for how that sits beside the banner.
Why we use it
Inquiry details are used to answer you, hold a seat, send bank details, and, if you attend, to run the sitting you booked. Paper logs are used inside the room for the lesson and are handed back. We do not sell personal information. We do not use inquiry text for advertising lists.
Retention
Email and form correspondence about a booking is kept for twenty-four months after the last message in the thread, then deleted from the studio mailbox. A paper attendance note (name, sitting, date) is kept for the same twenty-four months so a refund question can be checked. Logs you bring to a desk stay in your hands unless you ask us to keep a copy of the size card; a copy we keep is destroyed when the correspondence is destroyed.
Your rights
Under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea you may ask to see the inquiry record we hold, to correct a name or email, to delete the record, or to limit how we use it. Send the request to info@mindwaypoint.click. We will answer within a reasonable period and, where the statute sets a deadline, inside that deadline. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission. Asking for deletion of a record about a sitting you still plan to attend may mean we cannot hold the seat.
International transfers
The studio keeps correspondence in Korea. If you email us from another country, your message crosses a border on the way to our mailbox, because email works that way. Google Fonts requests may be handled on Google infrastructure outside Korea. We do not otherwise ship inquiry files to a foreign processor. If that practice changes, this page will name the recipient and the country before the new practice starts.
Children
Sittings are for adults who trade their own accounts. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
